Bantusoft Privacy Policy

Bantusoft Technology Solutions (Pty) Ltd developed a Mobile Application (App) that provides its consumers an end-to-end platform that allows them to participate in training runs, purchase running gear and get rewarded through the Kumo Retail store and register for the Hope With Every Step annual virtual, live or hybrid (virtual and live) event. The platform also provides its clients to get an access to market end-to-end opportunity, using the sport of running as a conduit. During this process and within the APP environment, users will come across related affiliated partner and or sponsor information, products and services. This privacy policy informs you of (i) the personal data collected or processed when you use the app developed by Bantusoft Technology Solutions (Pty)Ltd; (ii) how your personal data is protected, used, or shared; (iii) what choices you have relating to your personal data; and (iv) how you can contact us.


Information Collection And Use

Personal Data

    While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you ("Personal Data"). The personal data is requested to not only optimally calibrate your user experience and how we engage you appropriately based on the information we distribute. Communications We, our affiliates, partners, sponsors may use your Personal Information to contact you with related solutions through newsletters, marketing, promotional materials and person specific offers based on your active living (smart running, fitness and general lifestyle journey and goals) and other information that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in any email, sms we send.


    Transfer Of Data Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction. If you are located outside South Africa and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to South Africa and process it there. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer. If you choose to connect your Bantusoft Technologies account with a third-party device or account, your privacy rights on third-party platforms will be governed by their respective policies. For example, if you choose to share your Bantusoft Technologies activity on third-party social media platforms, the policies of those platforms govern the data that resides there. Our Sites and Apps may provide links to other (third-party) websites and apps for your convenience or information. Linked sites and apps have their own privacy notices or policies, which we strongly encourage you to review. To the extent any linked websites or apps are not owned or controlled by us, we are not responsible for their content, any use of the websites or apps, or the privacy practices of the websites or apps.
